One of Britain's premier mod bands of the 1960s, the ACTION recorded 5 classic singles for EMI from late 1965 to mid 1967. However the band unsuccessfully auditioned for Decca in May 1965 and until recently no music from this session was thought to survive. IN MY LONELY ROOM brings together for the first time on CD three excellent performances from this audition, with the title track unbelievably better than the EMI single version! 'Fine Looking Girl' is also a previously unknown track, recorded by the band some months earlier when they were known as THE BOYS. The CD comes with a 12 page booklet and may well be the last release of 'new' vintage Action music. Your chance to catch unbelievably - THE ACTION!
