Founder and lead singer of the alternative rock band Sonic Youth and author of several books, Thurston Moore, is back with a new album! Sonic Youth gained succes In the 90’s with albums like “Goo” and “Dirty” (both top 100). On the 16th of March, Thurston did some great interviews for magazines like OOR and HUMO as well was he a co-host at “Wonderland” on Belgian Radio 1. His stand alone track “Cease Fire” was even highlighted on the homepage of Belgian national newspaper De Morgen! For his upcoming solo album, Rock N Roll Consciousness, Thurston worked together with producer Paul Epworth (Adele and Florence & The Machine). This album is the fifth solo project of Thurston Moore and will be released on the 28th of April, followed by a world tour. Upcoming Summer, he will play with his Thurston Moore Group at Best Kept Secret (17.06) and Rock Werchter (02.07). Rock N Roll Consciousness will appear on CD, LP and a limited 2LP version.
